it's somewhat scary to think that such things do happen in countries not that far away from here.
i hope all these will come to an end soon and that peace will be restored.

i'm done with nineteen minutes!! xD
aft almost 2 wks.
omg.
slowwwwwwwwww.
almost cried at one part of the book.
haha.
was reading through some of my posts back in 2004.
when i was in sec2.
my language was ATROCIOUS!!
i found my ct results from back then.
i wonder how i managed to ace english back then..
with such horrendous blog posts.
hahaha.
i made an interesting discovery!!
TWINIE!!
we called each other twin back then you know!!
like whoa.
and we're back to doing that again. xD
but i can safely say that we have grown and matured through the yrs.
our sixth yr of friendship!!
and many more yrs to come, i believe. (:

i shall shove all those negative thoughts outta my mind for this blog post. (:
lunched with CHIWEI and STM PART before choir.
was nice chatting with them!! (:
girls only choir prac today.
learnt stupid cupid for open house.
it's a super bimbotic song.
xP
but i gotta admit that it's a nice song. (:
headed to tp central with BUDDY STM PART YANGLING aft prac.
the last two wanted to pierce their ears.
haha.
we practically walked ard the whole of tp central to find the shop STM PART went to before.
but we came across this shop which charges only 10 bucks for piercing both ears.
like wow.
haha. (:
aft that STM PART and i went to j8 while the other two went home.
we wanted to play at the arcade but we got chased out by this super fierce woman.
gosh.
even if we were in sch related clothes, you dun have to be THAT fierce.
went to gv aft that.
and thus our impromptu decision to watch a movie.
the timing was just right.
caught wild child.
and we were laughing from start to end.
it's not a bimbotic movie as we thought it was.
xD
had fun laughing with STM PART!! (:
btw we were so hungry that we finished the whole box of popcorn.
omg.
HAHA.
WE SAW THE TWILIGHT TRAILER!!
and we were omg-ing all the way.

oh yeah we met this little girl who was lost and was wailing and trying to find her mum frantically.
poor girl.
i took her hand and brought her to the gv staff.
told them that she was lost.
i think they managed to find her mum while we were queuing to buy popcorn.
thank God. (:

gosh.
dinnered at pastamania and we went home alr. (:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CASS!! xD
i finally completed the maclaurin's tut!!
i had to redo the whole thing.

went to the gym.
tried running at a slower speed cos i wanted to see if i could run more that way.
and yeah i did run more than usual!! (:
cos that way i won't get too tired too fast.
ran non-stop for half an hour.
hahaha.
xD
off to write 31 minus 3 notes.
i can forget abt reading more of the book later.
ROAR.

got woken up at 9 again.

cos my mum came into my room screaming.
cos the part time maid was super late.

finally found the furniture we wanted.
it was just at carrefour and there we were searching everywhere else like mad the few wks before.

went to toys r us aft i dunno how long.
i'm still fascinated by all the toys there. xD
and look who i found there!!
headed to the book fest aft dinner.
i was highly disappointed.
they're promoting many more chinese books than english books there.
i'm sorry i'm not a fan of chinese books.

but there was this expert on horoscopes giving a talk while we were there.
and what i heard was really interesting.
learnt quite a lot abt myself and my horoscope.
cos whatever she said was just so true and apt.

got blisters on the backs of both my feet while walking to the singapore flyer.
my first time there!!

we went there to WORK.

it was grandparents' day. (:
all of us had different duties.
CASS and i were stage helpers.
basically, a sai kang job.
haha.
CASS's sis was one of the ics of the whole event.
i still think that they dun look alike at all.
HAHA.
got to hear of a super amusing incident from CASS's sis.
totally LOL.
her sis is really funny!!
she and felicia were the two ppl incharge of us.
it's amusing when they start cursing or scolding ppl under their breaths.
HAHA.
oh yeah in the midst of doing smth..
felicia will just suddenly GRAB my hand or arm and ask me to run somewhere else to do smth..
ok she actually ran along sometimes too.
hahaha.
so we just kept running ard doing stuffs.
did i mention that it was SWELTERING that day?
yeah.
haha.
my arms have been aching from this whole event since ytd.
but i had a lot of fun!!

beats having a desk job anytime.
i'm so finding jobs like this aft my As nxt yr. xD
i feel like getting more NOW but i can't.
have to study plus i'm going to korea soon.

i felt that i could just SLEEP while walking from city hall to marina sq to meet my mum.
that was how exhausted i was.
was too tired so i didn't have the appetite for lunch.

then it was down to sa tours at ppl's park complex for the korea trip briefing.
like HUH?
cos i feel that all the stuff that they said during the briefing can be found online.
we alr know most of it.
my mum said it's a ploy to make ppl pay for the trip.
cos that day's the deadline for payment or smth.
HAHA.
went to swensens for my late lunch.
it was almost 4 by the time our food came.
mac n cheese. xD
THAT WAS MY ONLY PROPER MEAL FOR THAT DAY!!

only ate a sausage bun in the morn.
and i didn't eat anything aft i got home.
oh yes..
BFF UNCLE and the other mlcs ppl left for indonesia on this day.
didn't get to msg them to say goodbye.

i got a surprise and a shock today!!
[or ytd. ok. since it's past 12 alr. HAHA.]
this morn i was happily reading my book and totally ignoring my phone..
so when i went to check my phone..
i had like 4 missed calls from FAITH..
and 1 from BFF.
msged my apology to BFF then she called me back.
and lo and behold..
THEY WERE AT MY BLOCK.
HAHAHA.
but BFF couldn't rmb which floor i stay on..
[but she got the unit number right eh!]
thus the missed calls.
they were exactly two floors down and they actually pressed the doorbell there.
HAHAHAHAHA.
omg imagined if someone actually opened the door!!
so yeah.
they ended up at my house.
xD
i bathed while they were happily exploring my house.
i could hear their excited squeals and laughter.
HAHAHA.
headed to amk hub for lunch.
amk AGAIN! xP

fish and co-ed there.
HAHA. (:
went to buy titbits and drinks.
then i followed BFF home while FAITH went home.
let me cut the other things short.
headed to causeway point to meet the rest.
dinnered at banquet.
then they headed to k while i went home.
cos i can't stayover at FAITH's while the rest can.
back home.
when i opened the kitchen door,
a LIZARD brushed past my leg in a hurried frenzy to get away.
and i was too shocked to scream.
HAHA.
i wanted to but nth came out. -_-
yup so that pretty much wraps up my day. (:
i feel more busy than i was back when i was mugging for the promos!!

have smth on EVERY SINGLE DAY from tmr all the way to nxt fri.

but i will take this chance to truly enjoy myself. (:
ok i think i'm going to kill myself with all those thoughts of mine sooner or later..

my alone time ytd totally didn't feel like alone time at all.
in fact.
i felt more overwhelmed than i ever felt before.

full of my rants.

we shld really be twins dear!!
only we understand how each other feel abt stuffs. (:
you are the second person with the most similar life experiences as me.

today i awoke to all those 'alarm clocks' i mentioned in my previous post.

wanted to slp on but i couldn't bear the noise.
went to amk hub to meet STM PART. (:
lunched at pepper lunch.
love the cheeeeeese.
HAHA. xD
walked ard amk hub and we really bored..
cos we go there too often alr.
xP
BUDDY came along to meet us. (:
then we headed to sch.
brought them to my fave playground near serangoon central first.
we played THIS again!! xD
and we got many stares from the passers-by.
heh.
the blocks look nice against the black and white tiles of the table. (:
thanks for bringing them buddy!!
i insisted on playing on the swing at the playground before going back to sch..
so we were kinda late for choir.
oops.
there was 16 of us today.
learnt part of a new song today.
and all we did was to sing DOall 99% of the way.
the newer songs all have 4 part splits only so STM PART and i were back to being altos.
haha.
waited for AGES for STM PART aft prac.
ROAR.
thankfully i had BUDDY and YUANXI to wait with.
chatted with them all the way.

then it was off to heartland mall with STM PART.
she got the album she wanted. xD
dinnered at sakae. (:
i need to get down to studyinggggggggggg.

how i wish i could capture time and store it in an hour glass..
such that i can flip it over and over again whenever i want or need to..
such that time will never be insufficient.
there is only so much time we can get..
and all we can do is to treasure each and every second..
by spending them wisely.

i have natural alarm clocks around me.
1 - my next door neighbour just shifted out..
and their house is being renovated now..
drilling/scraping/other noises start at 9 every morn.
2 - the ppl who live above us wake up at abt 9/10 everyday..
and they will ALWAYS make such a din when they do.
i dun understand why they always sound like they're shifting furniture straight aft waking up.

3 - piling at the mrt construction site starts at abt the same time too.
choir today was __________ [i dunno how to describe it.].
there was only 14 of us.
so prac ended early.
got a lift from AMANDA's mum to heartland mall.
dinnered with them and STM PART. (:
NYNY!!
[AGAIN!! HAHAHA. nyny twice in 5 days. WOW.]
had loads of fun chatting and laughing with the 3 of them. xD

what hurts the most is that we didn't make all these choices/decisions..
i feel that we were merely informed of them.
but what can i say/do?
1 - my next door neighbour just shifted out..
and their house is being renovated now..
drilling/scraping/other noises start at 9 every morn.
2 - the ppl who live above us wake up at abt 9/10 everyday..
and they will ALWAYS make such a din when they do.
i dun understand why they always sound like they're shifting furniture straight aft waking up.

3 - piling at the mrt construction site starts at abt the same time too.
choir today was __________ [i dunno how to describe it.].
there was only 14 of us.
so prac ended early.
got a lift from AMANDA's mum to heartland mall.
dinnered with them and STM PART. (:

i woke up at 12 smth.
broke my own record of waking up late.
haha.
went out with mum in the late afternoon.
initially we wanted to go bowling but the bowling alley was full.
went to catch madagascar instead.
it's a good movie if you want to laugh. (:
but other than that i think the storyline is more for kids.
haha.
today
went to sch with the plan of studying with BFF and FAITH.
but aft lunch we just ended up snacking and talking..
and i started reading nineteen minutes.
another jodi picoult book!!

I AM SO SLEEEEEEEEEEEEPY.
5 days of sleeping at close to 1 and waking up before 8 is taking its toll on my body.

let me cut things short.
HAHA.
my house phone is fixed!!
FINALLY!!
no more exploding phone call bills.
got a new hp game.
xD
like FINALLY my phone doesn't just have ONE miserable game.
hahaha.
i got addicted to it alr!!
played the story mode for almost 1h just now.
went to sch to play bball with BFF and 6 others. (:
we played for almost 4h with breaks in btw.
my aiming sucks!!
but i managed to get a few balls in. xD
it was great exercise and great FUN!! (:

ahhhhhh i've been sleeping at close to 1 for four days straight.
at this rate my eye bags will never go away.
i shall make up for all the lost sleep over the next two months. (:
sch only re-opens on 13 jan. xD
chem and math lects today.
was trying hard not to stone.
haha.
lunched at nyny with OLIVIA and YUANXI.
then we went shopping for earphones.
managed to get new ones which are really GOOD. xD
they're good for studying!!
HAHA.
cos they block out all external sounds and noises. (:
so yeah i'm home now.

i shld really stop procrastinating.
i have 6 tuts to do just from all the lects aft the intensive pw and mt period itself.
not to mention revision.

after two days of reaching home at close to 11 at night and slping at close to 1..
I AM SUPER TIRED!!
HAHAHA.
felt super tired last night.

but the thing is that i've been busy having fun!!

got totally drenched in the rain on the way to sch.
oh yes i had an umbrella.
BUT IT WAS PRACTICALLY USELESS.

i hate being drenched cos my shoes and socks will be totally soaked.

lunched with her FAITH ELAINE and faith's friend.
headed to her house after that.
the first thing we did was to nap.

went to ica to change my ic photo.
and the ppl who took the photo made a big fuss cos of my fringe.

but it all went well in the end with a little hair gel. (:
met HAZIQ there!!
omg nvr would i thought tt i would meet anyone i know there.
haha.
went to taka to shop aft that.
finally got the bag i wanted!! xD
YAY!! HAHAHA.
i found a very good buy there too!!
it totally made me happy. (:
but i can't disclose what.

only AMANDA knows. (:
kinda scurried ard to find furniture for the balcony.
but to no avail.
the stuff we found were either unsuitable or too ex. ):
i feel like giving up!! xP
but i dun want my good idea to go to waste.
plus i'll get a new studying place if we do manage to find the furniture!!

i promised myself that i would start studying once i'm done with the book.

it's back to playing hard and studying hard.

sometimes i wish i can push all my self-expectations away..
out of my sight, out of my mind..
but ultimately i can't push them out of my heart..
cos they're alr inscribed there.
while they may be the main cause of all my disappointments..
ultimately, they keep me going.
everything happens for a reason..
God made life that way.
yes we may fall and stumble along the way..
but instead of blaming ourselves or others and mulling over these obstacles..
we shld find ways to get over them and move on in life.
life is short.
sometimes i wish i could scream at you..
things are not as easy as you make them out to be..
you said that you've been there, done that.
but do you really understand this system and what i'm studying and doing?
cos afterall, you studied in a whole different country..
not to mention that that happened quite long ago.
and mind you, GP IS NOT AN EASY SUBJECT AT ALL.
i'm sorry i'm not a genius who could easily score an A for that.
ARGH.
but i guess i can't blame you..
cos all parents have high expectations of their children..
and of course they want their children to be at their best.
i gotta admit that you've been very supportive of me so far.
especially of what happened last year.

there was only the ten of us left.
AMANDA and GABRIEL left straight aft we ate the cake.
then the rest of us went on ASO.
ASO = assault serene operation
HAHAHAHAHAHA.
it was YINXUE's idea.
it sparked off from HUIHUI and YANGLING wanting to smear cream on SERENE's face.
then BUDDY and CHIWEI wanted to join in too.
yes SERENE came back to the music room and they attacked her.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
her screams are ear-piercing. xP
and all of them chased each other ard the sch.
ard the canteen music room art room atrium area.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
STM PART and i attempted to hide in the music room.
away from all the chaos.
then we decided to run outside to join in in the end.
we managed to attack SERENE!!
HAHAHA. [thou is a sadist. xD]
and we ran to hide near the toilets at the atrium.
then somehow the rest returned to the music room and PRETENDED to pack up and kept saying that they wanted to leave alr.
YINXUE was hiding in the storeroom and she dashed out shouting ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! with this super amusing expression on her face.
STM PART got the full blow of the scare cos she was facing the store.
i didn't really get scared cos my back was facing the store.
haha.
aft that they totally attacked STM PART and i.
we were chased out to the pillar outside the music room.
and i was ducking so i got cream on my hair and on my WHITE tee..
but not on my face. xD
i broke from the whole crowd and sprinted to the atrium.
heard someone chasing aft me and it was BUDDY!!
LAUGHS.
we stopped for awhile then i took the chance to turn ard and i chased her to the toilet.
but i had mercy on her. (:
we all had a really good time!! xD
laughed so hard till i couldn't really catch my breath at all.
and i bet you could hear all of our screams from any part of the sch at that time.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
it was definitely a memorable birthday celebration for BUDDY!!

haven't really been in the mood to blog the past few days.
yes i'm stuck wearing specs for 2 wks.
sigh.
i look so weird and toot and ugly in them. ):

it has alr zapped up too much of my energy.
bring pissed with myself doesn't help at all.
so i give up.

recaps for the past few days. xD

this day was spent at ikea at tampines.
walked ard the whole place.
there were so many toys on sale!!
HAHAHA.
the splash of colours is enough to make you happy.
what more the toys. xD
ikea is a happy place. (:
crossed the road to the GIANT giant.
HAHA.
it's really bigggggg.
but really crowded too.
we bought A LOT of stuff.

FINALLY went to BFF's house!!
aft talking about it for weeks.
haha.
met her at tampines int first.
my butt almost rotted on the way there.
SO FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
HAHA.
lunched at long john's.
forced her to eat with me. xD
walked ard for awhile then took a bus to her house.
her living room furniture is re-arranged from the last time i've been there.
we watched tv at the living room and this girl seriously can't stop changing channels. -_-
so you can imagine how many small parts of the so many different shows that were on which we watched.
UNCLE called later and we took turns to talk to him. xD
then some stoning and it was time to go alr.
her mum gave me a green packet before i left.
my first ever green packet!!
HAHA.
after that was a walk down memory lane.
went to meet my mum at queenstown's ikea.
one of my sec sch hang-outs. xD

the swimming complex near crescent.
the condos we used to run past during our mass runs back at crescent.
highly nostalgic!! (:
didn't exactly walk ard ikea.
crossed over to anchorpoint instead.
but the furniture shop my mum remembered is gone.
heh.
went down to the furniture mall at beach road.
and almost all the shops were closed alr.
but not the one she was looking for. (:
managed to get a new sofa.
haha.

but instead i went to the doc's.

anw i went to the doc cos my eye was red and my mum is worried.
and ta-daah i have to stay off specs for 2 wks.
spent 2 days being pissed with myself.

i realised it's not worth it so i shall not get pissed anymore. (:
oh BFF called me!!

i found it quite random.
she told me all abt how horrible her gp paper2 was.
haha.
then she asked me if i wanted to go over to her house.
but i didn't wanna disturb her.
cos she had a math paper the next day.
